MOTOKO MIZUNO HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS ADVISER TO OUR COMPANY.
Advancing Humanity’s Next Civilizational Phase Through International Space Law and ISS Negotiation Expertise
Motoko Mizuno, a former member of Japan’s House of Councillors and a specialist in space policy and international law, has joined Bedrock Space as an Adviser.
With deep experience at JAXA, Mizuno worked at the intersection of law, diplomacy, and real-world implementation—contributing to international negotiations related to the International Space Station (ISS), supporting space ventures, and participating in the drafting of legal frameworks for space activities. As private-led space development accelerates globally, this capability becomes a decisive asset for building sustainable progress.
Mizuno is also the founder and initiator of the Tanegashima Space Art Festival, pursuing a redefinition of the human–space relationship through culture, philosophy, and societal design—not technology alone. She is currently working on initiatives such as establishing a “space school” and envisioning new international regimes beyond the United Nations, guided by a humanity-first belief in building a peaceful and energized future.
With Mizuno’s expertise, Bedrock Space will accelerate the design of new models that integrate ethics, institutions, and education for the private space sector. We will go beyond innovation alone—implementing “space development as civilization” with global-level rigor, aligning technology with human values and societal consensus.
