Creating a New Era of Entertainment by Fusing Live Experiences, the Metaverse, and Space

Masatoshi Uchimura has officially joined Bedrock Space’s entertainment segment, The Orbital Signature, and has been appointed Head of The Orbital Signature Department.

Beginning his career as a stage actor, Uchimura has built a multidisciplinary track record across film and video production, theme parks, events, and concerts—expanding into comprehensive producing roles spanning planning, scriptwriting, direction, composition, and stage management. His distinctive philosophy of “designing the atmosphere of live content” has earned strong recognition across the entertainment industry through participation in concerts and events of all sizes, both in Japan and internationally.

He is currently developing a fully integrated “Live × Metaverse” circular model—advancing experiential content that links physical spaces with virtual worlds. Guided by the core idea of “Japan, becoming even more Japan,” he has also been active in redefining Japanese culture and shaping new approaches to regional revitalization, local arts, and cultural tourism.

In this role, Uchimura will oversee the overall creative architecture of The Orbital Signature. By merging the “moment” of a rocket launch with music, visuals, lighting, and metaverse environments, he will design an entirely new festival experience—one that allows people to experience space as culture.

This project aims to connect the space industry not only with technology, but with human emotion, serving as a social experiment that bridges science and art, technology and humanity. Bedrock Space will elevate rocket launches into culture-scale events—advancing a new frontier of space entertainment, accelerating space development, and helping propel humanity’s expansion into space.
