Kai Sugihara visited VAST HQ, together with Kiara Kawaguchi and Tetsuya Handa (Former President, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank U.S. / Former President, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Luxembourg).

During the visit, they exchanged views on the latest trends in the satellite industry, execution speed in technology development, the global competitive landscape, and the role satellites play at the core of space infrastructure. Space infrastructure is not built by rockets or stations alone—only when communications, observation, data, and operations converge through satellites does it become the foundation of a civilization.

Bedrock Space views space not as a research domain, but as “civilizational infrastructure” that expands humanity’s living and cultural domain.
